Proclaim the Gospel

A Christian who Knows Jesus and is Connected with Others can't help but Proclaim the Gospel. Believers in Jesus are commanded to make disciples of all nations, to baptize, and to teach the things of Jesus. At The Church on the Hill, we take that command very seriously. Our mission is to Proclaim the Gospel to everyone, everywhere, every day. We see in the Book of Acts where the early disciples of Jesus are commissioned to be His witnesses locally, regionally, nationally, and globally. At TCOTH, we see that as our blueprint for our mission. Scroll down to see all the ways we fulfill this Great Commission Jesus has called us to.

Local Missions

There are needs, both physical and spiritual, that are present in every community. TCOTH desires to be a church that reaches out and meets those needs in our community. And while we understand that the physical needs of our area are a present reality, we believe that the greatest need every person has is the need to know Jesus. That is why all of our efforts in local missions are geared towards sharing the gospel of Jesus through serving the Dundee and it's surrounding areas.

TCOTH hosts a wide array of events on campus in order to meet needs and share the gospel. Whether it's an Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School for kids, or Thanksgiving food distribution, the gospel is always central. We also partner with local schools to provide clothing, food, and school supplies to children and their families.

Regional Missions

Partnering with other churches, Christian agencies, and non-profits is vital to reach our region with the gospel. TCOTH partners with many churches and organizations across the state of Florida and the southeastern United States.

We work closely with the Florida Baptist Convention in aiding churches around our state, as well as the Florida Baptist Children's Home, Disaster Relief, and Missions and Evangelism initiatives.

National Missions

TCOTH partners with the North American Mission Board which provides resources for evangelism, church planting, various ministries to children, teenagers, and young adults, as well as relief efforts in cases of natural disasters.

Global Missions

The command to go and make disciples reaches outside our own homes, communities, and nation, to those around the world who have never heard the gospel before. According to the Joshua Project, over 42% of the world's population is has not been reached with the gospel. Every Christian has been given the task of taking the message of Jesus to the nations.

TCOTH has ministered and served in various places including, Guatemala, Peru, and Argentina. Our people have taken the gospel of Jesus to these places and met physical needs, and more importantly, spiritual needs.
