IAN UPDATE FROM PASTOR HENRY

I hope that everyone was able to stay safe through the night and did not take too much damage to property during the passing of Ian. If you did take damage and there is something that we can help you with, Please be sure to reach out and let us know. As many of you may have heard by now, our facility did take some considerable damage from Ian (see pics to the left). There is some roof damage in the sanctuary that is causing major leaking and water damage on the north side of the building in sanctuary, and side class rooms that face Lake Maria and the back of the church. Thankfully, the damage is almost solely confined to the Sanctuary (everything else is very small and minor). Because of this our Sunday Worship will look a little different:

 

- We WILL NOT have small group/sunday school this Sunday

- We WILL MEET at 11am in the Fellowship hall to worship together!


We will not let this keep us from sitting at the feet of Jesus and praising our God who is above all and over all. We will be having some dedicated time on Saturday after our mens breakfast to get the fellowship hall set up for services to be held in there. If you would like to help with that, you can meet up at the church at 9:30am. We could definitely use some help setting up. Be sure to check on one another; check on your neighbors and look for opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus! You are loved and appreciated!!

Hurricane Ian Update

WEATHER UPDATE AS OF 9/27/2022


The Church office will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 28th, and all Wednesday evening activities, including dinner, Adult Bible Study, Student and Children activities are cancelled. Game Night on Friday, Sept. 30th, has also been cancelled.


We will update this page with new information as the storm progresses and passes. We will also be updating our Facebook Page with updates as well.


Be sure that you are prepared and are keeping up with weather information for you area.
